The call of deer

The repetitive snorting deer is back. Presumably in some testosterone-fuelled mission, his night time forays encompass the railway line and various gardens. Enough to announce his presence in the depths of the night – he continued for what seemed like ages before peace finally prevailed and sleep returns.
